Update: October 7, 2020 –

Thank you to parents for continuing to cooperate with school administration to limit the spread and avoid an outbreak at our schools.

Under the direction of the Alberta Government guidelines, schools are obligated to send students home if they have any symptoms on the Daily Health Checklist.

  • If a student returns to school within 10 days of having any of the five (5) symptoms requiring isolation, and they did not receive a negative COVID-19 test, the school must send the child back home, even if symptoms are no longer present. We have no other choice.
  • Please do not send your child back to school if they had any of the five (5) symptoms requiring mandatory isolation unless they’ve tested negative for COVID-19.
  • Review the Stay at Home Guide below for details.

We continue to rely on the cooperation of all as we strive to avoid outbreaks and the much greater inconvenience of a mandatory quarantine applied to cohorts of staff and students.
