June 18th, 2021

Madison Kolotyluk a Grade 8 student at Eleanor Hall School. She was nominated for the Citizenship Award by Teachers Michelle Savoie and Marie Wasieczko.

Maddie is an excellent student who always demonstrates responsibility with her work and goes above and beyond to help others in class. She uses class time efficiently, is always aware of deadlines, and treats all peers and staff with respect.

Maddie displays kindness to others and she is an amazing friend to her peers. She is also always quite aware of how the people around her are feeling. She can tell when someone is not feeling their normal self (including staff) and always offers consolement in a kind and compassionate way.

Maddie not only completes school work on time, but she will always be there for friends and the staff to support them. She is dependable and goes above and beyond to complete tasks that she hasn’t been asked to do, like clean the hallways because it was getting messy.

The school board is pleased to present Madison with the Citizenship Award for recognition of the positive contributions she makes in her school and community. Congratulations!
