The Alberta government has declared Monday, September 19, as a provincial day of mourning for the Queen’s funeral. 

All Pembina Hills schools will remain open on Monday, September 19. 

Schools may choose to commemorate her life in a manner appropriate for their students. There will also be an outdoor ceremony taking place at the Alberta Legislature Building at 10:00 am on September 19 and live-streamed on the Alberta Government website for those interested in watching: https://www.alberta.ca/queen-elizabeth-memorial-services.aspx
