To celebrate Bus Driver Appreciation Day we invited students across the division to participate in a coloring contest. The response was amazing – we received 431 entries from 11 schools!! Due to the large number of amazing entries, two winners were chosen by random draw. Congratulations to:
Jordyn Duplessie – Grade 1, Barrhead Elementary School
Chelsea Beaudin – Grade 5, Busby School
And one honorable mention to Alie Wiks – Grade 11, R.F. Staples Secondary School
The winners will receive a prize and we hope to get a picture of them with their bus driver. Thank you to all the students who took the time to acknowledge our bus drivers and show your appreciation. The colored pictures and notes will be distributed to bus drivers this week.
