Kylena is a positive role model for learning independently at a distance. She demonstrates responsibility in her learning with her determination to succeed which is reflected in the regular submission of her work. She is a confident student and willing to ask for help when she needs it, always putting her best effort into her work.

She is kind, dependable and possesses excellent time management skills. She completes all of her tasks with quality in mind, steadily working towards her goals. Even at a distance, Kylena participates in her school community. When the opportunity arises, she contributes to discussions in a considerate manner. 

The school board is pleased to present Kylena with the Citizenship Award in recognition of the positive contributions she makes in her school and community.
