Layne Young is a Grade 5 student at Dunstable School and was nominated for the Citizenship Award by Principal Tammy Tkachuk. Layne is described as a very mature and responsible student. He always takes his assignments seriously and can be counted on to do his best work. He can be trusted to make good decisions and he is both dependable and honest. Layne is always willing to lend a hand and help others. Whether it is working with the school’s Kinderbuddies, reading to his Grade 1/2 partners, or helping a classmate, Layne cheerfully steps up. He brings a positive attitude to school every day. No matter what changes and challenges the day brings, he tackles them with a smile.
