Citizenship Award Winner—Makayla Schole

June 10th, 2021

Makayla Schole is a Grade 6 student at Dunstable School. She was nominated for the Citizenship Award by Principal Tammy Tkachuk.

Makayla helps and supports others both in the classroom and around the school. She is always willing to lend a hand with younger students or with Bear House activities. She is a leader in the school and she takes her role as a leader and helper very seriously. When her work is done in class, she will also help her peers finish their work by providing guidance and assistance without just doing their work for them.

Makayla always comes to school ready to learn and with a positive attitude. She participates in the Student Leadership Group Dress Up Days and Treat Days with enthusiasm. She does a wonderful job of encouraging others to participate in activities and share in the school’s spirit days.

Makayla is dependable and can always be counted on to help out, participate, and get her work done. Teachers in every grade level can count on Makayla to help out when asked and handle responsibilities very well. Tkachuk says, “Makayla is a leader at Dunstable School and very deserving of a Citizenship Award.”

The school board is pleased to present Makayla with the Citizenship Award for recognition of the positive contributions she makes in her school and community. Congratulations!
