Citizenship Award Winner — Mariah Walter

Mariah is a standout leader in the classroom, showing deep respect for her peers and staff at Pibroch Colony School. Always ready to assist, she keeps the library organized and steps in whenever there is a cleaning task. Mariah’s involvement ensures that any job is done right.

She’s known for her reliability and diligence, completing tasks with high effort and accuracy every day, whether in art, Social Studies, Writing, or Math. Mariah’s enthusiasm for learning is contagious and her positive attitude brings joy to the classroom.

Mariah does not complain about her workload rather tackling it with dedication and confidence. Her independence and problem-solving skills shine and she is always eager to participate in discussions, setting a positive example for her peers.

Kindness is second nature to Mariah, as seen in her willingness to help others and her genuine gratitude for even the smallest gestures. As one of the older students, Mariah leads by example, demonstrating compassion, fairness, integrity and a readiness to take on new challenges. Her positive influence on the school community is undeniable, making her an invaluable asset to the classroom and beyond.

The school board is pleased to present Mariah with the Citizenship Award in recognition of the positive contributions she makes in her school and community.
