Nathan is described as a student who consistently demonstrates a strong sense of responsibility. His persistence, punctuality and reliability are evident at both school and his workplace. Nathan appreciates rules and expectations, and in abiding by and understanding the importance of them, he encourages others to do the same. Whether it’s advocating for fairness or offering guidance to fellow students, he approaches challenges with a practical, common-sense mindset while remaining mindful of others and of the greater societal goal in his decision-making.
Nathan actively works towards his goals, setting incremental objectives and courageously working towards them. His determination, growth mindset and high expectations for himself have propelled him from basic tasks at his workplace to more complex responsibilities within a short span. His workplace is preparing him for other work placements he may have in the future that will help him accomplish his future career goals.
Nathan’s commitment to his Indigenous heritage and advocacy for LGBTQIA2S+ rights underscores his courage to stand up for what he believes in. Through his artistic expression and constructive dialogue, he fosters a culture of inclusivity and equity, inspiring those around him to do the same. Not only does Nathan vocalize his concerns respectfully and honestly, but he also actively seeks solutions to effect positive change within his community. His advocacy extends beyond words, as he consistently offers support and guidance to peers in need, showcasing his unwavering commitment to creating a safer and more supportive environment for all.
