Citizenship Award Winner—Reanna Stitsen

Reanna Stitsen is a Grade 6 student at Busby School. She was nominated for the Citizenship Award by Teacher Jim Schaffer.

Reanna demonstrates responsibility by consistently following the school and classroom rules. She is a person of her word and avoids situations that may get her in trouble. Reanna also embraces new challenges with her positive attitude. She is able to “go with the flow” and her attitude is contagious. Reanna is committed to her studies and works towards her goals. If there is a deadline or activity to be completed she is sure to meet it. Reanna was a key member of the Bobcats Basketball team this year. She worked hard on all her skills to improve as a player and by the end of the season was a top performer.

Reanna is a good listener in class which makes her a great student. Furthermore, she has many friends who appreciate her attentiveness. She listens to others and responds appropriately to every situation. Providing feedback and advice to help her friends and occasionally includes some jokes in too. Reanna is a dependable student, friend, and family member. At school, Reanna is willing to help out wherever needed.

Mr. Schaffer concludes by saying, “Although she will never ask for it, Reanna is deserving of recognition.”

The school board is pleased to present Reanna with the Citizenship Award for recognition of the positive contributions she makes in her school and community. Congratulations!
