Approved in Principle: Swan Hills School trip to Portugal and Spain in 2025
Pembina Hills encourages its students to participate in special events such as field trips, athletic competitions, music and drama festivals, tours and student exchanges, as these activities can significantly complement the educational program. While Field Trips, Excursions, National and International Tours have positive educational value, care must be taken to ensure that all off-site activities are organized to maximize educational benefit and ensure the protection and safety of students.
The board considered a request from Swan Hills School regarding a tour through Portugal and Spain in the spring of 2025. The board approved the trip in principle, which authorizes the lead teacher to inform students and parents and to continue planning the trip.
