Karl Rottier has been a community volunteer at Pembina North Community School for over 10 years. Also the liaison between the Dapp Community Council and the school, Karl is very friendly and approachable with students, staff, parents and community members.

Karl has been a long-standing volunteer in the Dapp Community and when it comes to the outdoor rink located at Pembina North Community School, he goes over and above to make the rink usable for everyone. The rink is well used by the school (all classes from K-9) and the community on evenings and weekends.

He continually volunteers his time, along with his helpers, equipment and resources in order to make the rink a valuable and usable facility for all.

Whether it be flooding the ice, clearing snow, maintaining equipment or doing any other rink maintenance, Karl never hesitates when it comes to getting jobs done.

He is truly an exemplary and stellar community partner and well deserving of this award!
