Kendra Seatter appointed Assistant Director of Student Services

Pembina Hills School Division is pleased to announce the appointment of Kendra Seatter as the Assistant Director of Student Services, effective August 20, 2024.

Kendra brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her new role. Kendra graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Education degree in 2004 and obtained a Master of Education degree from the University of Alberta in 2017, where her focus was on Inclusive Education and support for autistic students. Kendra has pursued additional studies, completing a Graduate Certificate in Trauma-Sensitive Practices at the University of Alberta in 2023 and is in the process of completing the Neurosequential Model in Education (NME) Trainer Program.

She spent the early years of her career working as a substitute teacher in both Aspen View Public Schools and Pembina Hills. Kendra then taught preschool in Dapp before taking on the role of the music and band teacher at Pembina North Community School. While at Pembina North, Kendra took on additional responsibilities as a Literacy and Numeracy Support Teacher and the school’s Inclusive Education Coordinator. In 2018, Kendra moved into a division role and has since served as an Inclusive Education Specialist and Education Services Consultant, supporting students with complex needs and facilitating professional development related to inclusive practices and literacy. For the past two years, she has also held the role of Associate Principal at École Barrhead Elementary School.
