March 20, 2105 – Pembina Hills Regional Division No. 7 is pleased to announce the nomination of Michael Ivey for the Alberta School Board Association 2015 Edwin Parr Teaching Award.

Nominations for this award must be a teacher in his/her first year of teaching who demonstrates exemplary
qualities of a teacher. The criteria also includes involvement in professional development activities as well
as involvement in extra_curricular and community activities. Mike possesses all of these attributes.

Mike currently teaches Grade 5 and 6 at Busby School. In addition to having had outstanding teaching evaluations, he has also been involved in coaching at Busby School and at the community level. The Board of Trustees are proud to submit the nomination of Michael Ivey to the Alberta School Board Association for their consideration.
