Nearly 1K Pembina Hills Students Attend March 18 Career Fair

March 31st, 2025

Nearly 1,000 grades 9-12 students from across our school division and approximately 160 members of the public attended the free Pembina Hills Career and Job Fair in Barrhead on March 18. Attendees had the opportunity to interact with 28 exhibitors including local employers and post-secondary institutions. Attendees were also treated to a free lunch cooked by members of the Barrhead Fire Department.

To foster interaction with exhibitors, students participated in a ‘Passport’ challenge, where they navigated the various booths to complete the question-based activity.

This event would not have been possible without the partnerships on the Pembina Hills Career and Job Fair Committee. A special thank you to the exhibitors, the numerous sponsors, the Barrhead Fire Department and our student and FCSS volunteers for making this event possible!
