Together with Careers Next Generation, Pembina Hills is offering a Career Camp this July for students entering grade 10 in the fall!

The camp encompasses five days, July 2-6, 2024, of students learning about exciting careers in Automotives, Welding, Heavy Equipment Operating, Construction Trades, Aviation and Agriculture. Students will earn three credits at the completion of the camp, including one credit for the completion of the HCS 3000 course*. Students will complete coursework with opportunities for hands-on learning and they will hear from industry experts and venture out on site visits each day. The camp will take place at R.F. Staples Secondary School in Westlock.

Parents can apply for their grade 9 student to attend through their PowerSchool Parent portal. There is limited seating and applications will be open until April 15, 2024. There is no cost for students to attend (lunch details TBA) and bus transportation is available from Barrhead Composite High School each day of the camp.
