Regional Office –

Locally Developed Courses approved

The board passed two motions to approve various locally developed courses in Forensic Studies, Band, Reading and Social Literacy. Locally Developed Courses are developed, acquired and authorized by school authorities to provide students with unique opportunities to explore a range of interests in subject areas that complement provincial programs of study.

2021-2022 Rates Annex updates

The board approved Rates Annex 1 – Student Fees with no changes to rates. The 2021-2022 rates annex has been amended to include the definition of Non-Primary Students: “Alberta students registered for more than 5 credits in a school year and registered under an PHSD Education Services Agreement.”

Rates Annex 3 – Bus Rental & Shop Rates was also approved with only one addition—a rate for tow truck use. For 2021-2022, rates for the use of the tow trucks will be $125 per hour for external (outside the organization) use and $100 per hour for internal (inside the organization) use.

All rates are posted on the Rates Annex page.
