2023 International Trips Approved

The Board approved, in principle, the international trips for Barrhead Composite High School senior students to travel to Italy/Greece during the 2023 spring break and photography students to London in May 2023. 

Internal division school processes running smoothly

Assistant Secretary-Treasurer Veronica Lindquist presented the Internal Audit Accountability Report with the results showing that the practices and procedures in all division schools are achieving a high level of acceptability. 

Board to meet with Public School Boards Association representatives

The Board will meet with representatives from the Public School Boards Association at their September 28 meeting to discuss membership in the association. 

Long service awards presented

On behalf of the Board, Vice Chair Sherry Allen presented long service awards to five staff members from Information Technology and Regional Office. The list of recipients can be found in the Board meeting minutes.
