The school board is pleased to recognize Josef Pidsadowski as a recipient of a Pembina Hills Citizenship Award. Josef is a grade 12 student at R.F. Staples Secondary School (RFS) and was nominated for this award by teacher, Jessica Stevens.
Joe is a shining example of what it means to support others, show kindness, and be someone your school community can count on. As a dedicated member of the student council, Joe plays a vital role in the success of countless school events. Whether he’s helping plan and set up, encouraging student involvement, or hauling supplies with his trusty truck, Joe is always ready to lend a hand. His positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to help behind the scenes have not gone unnoticed—he’s the kind of teammate every group hopes for.
Joe is also known for his genuine kindness. Respectful, approachable, and caring, he takes the time to ensure everyone feels seen and included. Whether it’s offering help or simply being someone others can talk to, his presence brings a sense of warmth and community to the school.
Perhaps most impressively, Joe is consistently dependable. From set-up to clean-up, he follows through on every task with reliability and initiative, staying late when needed and never shying away from hard work. His commitment to making things run smoothly is deeply appreciated by both staff and students.
Joe embodies the spirit of citizenship through his selfless support, kindness, and dedication to his school community. The school board is pleased to present Joe with the Citizenship Award in recognition of the positive contributions he makes in his school and community.
Congratulations Josef!
