Randy & Rilayna Pidsadowski receive Exemplary Parent Volunteer Award

Randy and Rilayna Pidsadowski are a remarkable duo who consistently demonstrate an extraordinary commitment to R. F. Staples Secondary School (RFS) students and the school community, embodying the true spirit of generosity, leadership, and compassion.

Randy and Rilayana are pillars of RFS and the sports community, volunteering countless hours coaching basketball and supporting volleyball programs. Beyond teaching athletic skills, they serve as powerful role models, instilling values like teamwork, sportsmanship, and leadership in our young people. Despite their busy lives, they consistently find time to mentor students, assist staff, and be present at school events, showing a genuine commitment to the success and well-being of every student.

Their generosity extends far beyond the court. They have provided substantial financial support to enhance student experiences, contributing to athletic programs and purchasing critical equipment, such as a drill press for the high school Industrial Arts program, which students use daily. Their positive impact is visible across our school in both academics and extracurricular activities. Randy’s quiet generosity and selflessness are especially heartwarming.

Rilayana further exemplifies their commitment by leading the RFS School Council. She works tirelessly to advocate for students, support teachers, and foster strong school-family connections, creating countless opportunities and resources for both students and staff. Her leadership is marked by her dedication to student advocacy and school improvement, consistently seeking ways to enhance the learning environment.

Randy and Rilayana embody the spirit of community service, compassion, and leadership in every way. Their positive presence, consistent involvement in school life, and ability to lead with both heart and purpose make them inspiring examples of engaged and compassionate citizenship. They have made a lasting difference in the lives of countless students, families, and staff members, and we are incredibly fortunate to have them as part of our school community.
