Citizenship Award Winner—Jack Kryger

Jack Kryger is a grade 12 student who is graduating from Barrhead Composite High School (BCHS).

We are proud to recognize Jack with a Grade 12 Citizenship Award for his outstanding character, leadership, and commitment to making a positive difference in his school and community.

Jack leads with integrity, compassion, and quiet strength. He consistently stands up for what’s right—even when it’s difficult—and treats others with respect, regardless of how he is treated. Whether offering a listening ear or noticing when someone needs support, Jack creates a sense of care and belonging wherever he goes.

A dependable and dedicated volunteer, Jack has given his time to community events. When he commits to helping, he follows through—always ready to give his best.

Jack brings a positive, resilient attitude to everything he does. He faces challenges with determination and a belief that hard work can lead to great outcomes. Now training to become a volunteer firefighter, Jack continues to show his deep sense of responsibility and care for others.

The school board is pleased to present Jack with a Citizenship Award in recognition of the positive contributions he makes in his school and community.
