Citizenship Award Winner – Nate Johnston

The school board is pleased to present the Citizenship Award to Nate Johnston, a Grade 7 student at R.F. Staples Secondary School, in recognition of the positive contributions he makes to his school and community.

The Citizenship Award isn’t just about earning the highest grades; it’s about the heart and the effort someone brings to our school community. Today’s recipient is a student who truly embodies what it means to lead through actions.

Nate consistently demonstrates a strong commitment to achieving his goals. He stays focused on his tasks, asks thoughtful questions, and pushes himself to improve, even when challenges arise. His perseverance and eagerness to learn show that he genuinely understands the value of effort and personal growth. By taking initiative and celebrating progress along the way, Nate sets a positive example for all of us, proving that hard work leads to success.

Beyond his work ethic, Nate is someone we can always rely on because he is honest in everything he does.
