The school board is pleased to recognize Kali Busse, a Grade 6 student from Dunstable School, with the Citizenship Award in recognition of the positive contributions she makes in her school and community. 

Kali consistently demonstrates outstanding citizenship through her responsibility, positive attitude, and concern for others. She takes pride in helping maintain a clean and organized classroom and is often one of the first to volunteer when help is needed. She also shows maturity by taking responsibility for her actions and making thoughtful choices.

Kali approaches everything she does with enthusiasm and determination. She always puts forth her best effort and remains positive, even when faced with challenges.

What truly stands out is the care she shows for those around her. Kali is highly aware of her classmates’ feelings and is quick to offer encouragement and support when someone is upset or feeling left out. Her kindness helps create a welcoming and caring classroom community.
