Pembina Hills is excited to once again partner with Careers Next Generation to offer a hands-on Career Camp this July for students entering Grade 10 in the fall.
Taking place July 6–10, 2026, this five-day camp allows students to explore a variety of high-demand career pathways, including healthcare, welding, heavy equipment operation, construction trades, and forestry.
Throughout the week, students will:
- Participate in hands-on learning experiences
- Hear directly from industry professionals
- Take part in daily site visits to see careers in action
Students who complete the camp will earn three credits toward CALM 20, making this a valuable opportunity to get a head start on high school learning while exploring future career options.
The camp will be hosted at R.F. Staples Secondary School.
Families of current Grade 9 students can apply through the PowerSchool Parent Portal. Space is limited, and applications will be accepted until May 15, 2026.
There is no cost to attend, and daily bus transportation will be provided from Barrhead Composite High School.
