The school board is pleased to present the Citizenship Award to Bethany Torvalson, a Grade 12 student at Swan Hills School, in recognition of the positive contributions she makes to her school and community.
Bethany is a hardworking and dependable student who consistently demonstrates honesty and integrity. She takes responsibility for her actions, follows through on her commitments, and is someone who can always be counted on to contribute positively to her school community.
As an active member of the Students’ Union and the Grad Committee, Bethany has generously volunteered her time to help plan events, attend meetings, create decorations, and work on the graduation memory book. Her willingness to support these activities has helped make them successful for her fellow students.
Bethany has also shown determination in pursuing her academic goals. Through careful planning and hard work, she has been accepted into the four-year Fine Arts program at Red Deer Polytechnic. She has taken the initiative to ensure she completed the courses required for admission and continuously sought ways to improve her academic performance.
Bethany’s honesty, dependability, and dedication make her a deserving recipient of this award and an excellent representative of Swan Hills School.
