June 22nd, 2026

Kyli Ford is described as an invaluable asset to Busby School, particularly in her role as fundraising coordinator.  She meticulously organizes fundraising initiatives, from managing forms to coordinating product delivery and pickup.  Her hard work lays the foundation for a brighter future for students by supporting educational programs.  Kyli consistently goes the extra mile, often contributing food for hot lunches, saving the School Council money, and even brings her own BBQ for school events.

Beyond her organizational skills, Kyli’s positive attitude and genuine care for students shine through.  She knows students by name, loves to talk with them, and consistently demonstrates kindness and empathy.  A wonderful example of her engaging approach was when she brought her own lambs to the school for students to experience firsthand, connecting her passion for farming with student education.  She is a positive role model, showing young students the importance of pitching in and getting things done.

Kyli’s commitment extends far beyond the school walls.  She is a true community builder, volunteering with various organizations like Soul Sisters, FCSS cooking classes, Seniors at Home Supports, 4H Club, and Westlock art paint nights, in addition to her extensive involvement at Busby School and R.F.  Staples Secondary School.  Her positive presence, willingness to be the “behind-the-scenes” driver, and her consistent efforts in cleaning up after events underscore her selfless dedication.

Kyli Ford’s generosity of spirit, compassionate caring, and unwavering commitment to Pembina Hills make her an exceptionally deserving recipient of this award.

Congratulations Kyli!
