Michelle Savoie receives the Exemplary Teacher Award

Michelle Savoie is a junior high teacher at Eleanor Hall School. As a Science teacher, Ms. Savoie excels at encouraging independent, creative, and critical thinking. Her lessons are designed to promote exploration, hypothesis development, and scientific exploration through guided inquiry and engaging experiments. Through project-based learning and thought-provoking questions, she fosters creativity and challenges students to solve problems critically.  She is known for her personalized approach to teaching, tailoring her lessons to meet the diverse learning needs of her students, providing individual support and creating exciting learning experiences to keep her students actively engaged. 

Ms. Savoie’s positive and infectious attitude creates a welcoming space for students, parents, and colleagues. Students find comfort and support in her presence, while parents appreciate her clear communication and dedication to their child’s success.

Her colleagues recognize her exceptional talents. They regularly seek her guidance, especially in matters related to science. From Educational Assistants to parents and students, the praise for Ms. Savoie’s teaching methods and dedication to student success is overwhelming.
