David Truckey is in his third term with Pembina Hills School Division, overlapping 19 years on Westlock Town Council. Along with his wife Sandra, they live and work in Westlock in the restaurant business. Their two children, Stephanie and Jonathan, both graduated from RF Staples Secondary School, where their parents also graduated from…many years earlier! The past terms’ experience on Westlock Town Council and the School Board have shaped David to believe in consensus-built decisions for the betterment of students across the division. “Challenges come and go, but a belief in good governance is at the heart of my decision-making process.” Following the motto What’s best for kids”, we can educate our students to face the world.
