Judy Lefebvre was born and raised in the Rich Valley area and has lived in Barrhead since 1980. She attended the University of Alberta, where she received her Bachelor of Education degree in secondary English, and later received her Early Childhood Diploma. She obtained a Master’s degree in School Leadership from the University of Portland.
Throughout her career in education, she taught all grades from Kindergarten to grade 9. Judy also served as Assistant Principal at Westlock Elementary for 10 years. She served as the Alberta Initiative for School Improvement (AISI) Coordinator for Pembina Hills before being elected to the Pembina Hills Board of Trustees for the Town of Barrhead in 2013. She is now entering her 4th term in that position.
Judy is the mother of 3 adult children and has seven grandchildren. Her philosophy about education had remained unchanged in these constantly changing times.
