Celebrate the Christmas season by attending a concert or assembly at your community school! Students have begun rehearsing, sets and costumes are being designed and spirits are high!

Many schools will also have donation bins set up for various causes at their concerts.

Barrhead Composite High School – Band Concert December 11, 6:30 p.m. Admission is a donation for the Food Bank.

Busby School – December 20, 7:00 p.m. Food bank donations, items for their Tree of Warmth and the Parent Council will be doing a 50/50 draw.

Dunstable School – December 14, performances at 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Bring an item to “Stuff a Stocking” for FCSS Barrhead.

École Barrhead Elementary School

The French Immersion Concert and Christmas Assembly at BES have been postponed to the New Year. Details will be posted on barrheadelementary.ca.

• December 22, 9:30 a.m. (Avengers house group and choir performing). Please bring a food bank donation. 

Eleanor Hall School – December 14, performances at 1:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.

Fort Assiniboine School – December 14, 7:00 p.m. Donations to Food Bank or Santa’s Toy Box are being accepted (going to Barrhead FCSS). No outdoor footwear is permitted in the gym. 

Neerlandia Public Christian School – December 20, 7:00 p.m. at the Neerlandia Christian Reformed Church sanctuary (across from the bus lanes). Dress rehearsal is December 19 at 1:00 p.m. Bring a cash donation for the Foodbank.

Pembina North Community School –  December 14, performances at 1:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Santa will be stopping in for a visit at the end of the concert with treat bags for the kids. Musical performances from Grades K-6 and a play written/performed by Junior High students. There will be a Bake Sale at the event. 

R.F. Staples Secondary School –  Band Winter Concert will take place January 18, 2024, 6:30 p.m. in the CATS Theatre.

Swan Hills School – December 20, 7:00 p.m. large gym.
