May 25th, 2021

Brenda Teasdale is a program assistant at Barrhead Composite High School (BCHS) and has been with Pembina Hills for over 21 years. Brenda helps students and teachers in many ways. She helps students at lunch, after school and on her own time to make sure they understand a concept or to help them get their homework completed. Students will seek her out at lunch to visit or ask for her help because they know that she is more than willing to help them.

Brenda comes in early every morning to help with the Breakfast Program at BCHS. She helps to wrap muffins, bagels, or cut up fruit to put in the breakfast trays for every classroom.

Brenda always has a smile on her face and truly enjoys helping students and staff. Staff members know that there is no task big or small that she will let go undone. She can often be heard saying, “There must be something I can do for you!” Because of her positive attitude, she is often the recipient of thank you cards, flowers or small gifts from her staff or students.

Brenda truly loves her job and working with students is what makes her happy. She readily accepts any and all challenges and strives to make each day better than the last. Staff members are extremely happy when they learn that Brenda will be working with students in their classes. They know that she will only increase the level of learning of the students that she is assisting.

Brenda is a definite team player and is more than willing to do any job or task asked of her. She is the number one cheerleader of BCHS students and knows that they are capable and tries to bring the best out in them. Brenda goes the extra mile for staff and students and is vital to our support system at BCHS.

Congratulations!
