Citizenship Award Winner — Alyssa Schulte

June 15th, 2023

Alyssa is a Grade 2 student at Fort Assiniboine School. She was nominated for a Citizenship Award by her teacher Nicole DeZaeyer.

Alyssa is very aware of her environment and constantly seeks out ways to help others. On the playground she will pick up any garbage that appears, return recess equipment that has been left behind, offer to hold the door open for others and always demonstrates excellent cooperation with others. In the classroom, she is eager to be of assistance and can be depended on to be a messenger for the office, assist fellow students with buddy reading and to be a partner for someone who doesn’t have one.

Alyssa is quiet spoken, but will always speak up to say what is right and fair. She has exceptional manners, politeness, a positive attitude and growth mindset. She always has a smile on her face and her contagious laughter brings a smile to the faces of other students. She accepts challenges with a smile and perseveres when things aren’t easy of if she makes mistakes.

The school board is pleased to present Alyssa with a Citizenship Award for recognition of the positive contributions she makes in her school and community.

Congratulations Alyssa!
