Angie is a Grade 8 student at Barrhead Composite High School. She was nominated for a Citizenship Award by teacher Elizabeth Sutherland.

Mrs. Sutherland describes Angie as a hardworking individual who cares deeply about the world and how everyone can be successful in it. She is a positive rolemodel for her classmates, has great determination and always asks how she can achieve more or how she can grow as a student and learner. Angie is involved in many clubs and organizations, often volunteering to help at the school such as staying back to clean and close down the theatre or guiding students to find costumes that fit. She focuses on the needs of others and genuinely wants to take care of everyone as best as she can. She even checks in on her teachers!

The Board of Trustees is pleased to present Angie with a Citizenship Award in recognition of the positive contributions she makes in her school and community.
