Citizenship Award Winner — Brielle Airey

June 16th, 2023

Brielle is a Grade 11 student at Barrhead Composite High School. She was nominated for a Citizenship Award by teacher Alix deBeaudrap.

Brielle is one who, when she volunteers to assist with something, will see the project through to the end. Whether she is performing group work with her classroom colleagues or assisting with an extracurricular or community project, Brielle can be counted on to show up on time, do her part (or more), and see that the work is completed to the best of her and her group’s abilities.

As a strong member of the Student Leadership Group, Brielle not only assists in generating ideas for events and fundraisers, she takes an active role in organizing and liaising with all groups involved. Brielle works on all parts of each event, helping to ensure that each event is solidly in place from the initial concept, through development and to the final product.

Brielle also has academic ambition. She sets the bar of success high for herself, completes her work and is a top student all while maintaining a part-time job.

The Board of Trustees is pleased to present Brielle with a Citizenship Award in recognition of the positive contributions she makes in her school and community.

Congratulations Brielle!
