Preston is a Grade 1 student at Swan Hills School. He was nominated for a Citizenship Award by Educational Assistant Jennifer Stenberg.

Preston is described as a kind, positive, respectful and responsible student.  He is helpful, always willing to help classmates or staff and does not hesitate when someone asks him to do something.

Preston is usually one of the first students to finish their work and is always on task. He follows rules, has the courage to do what is right even if those around him do not and can be counted on to tell the truth in any situation. 

He is always smiling, ready to listen and answer any questions. His positive demeanor and great sense of humor creates a warm classroom environment. Preston is respectful, compassionate and caring towards others. Staff say he is a delight to have in the classroom and is a joy to teach. He may only be in grade one, but he is a model student. 

The school board is pleased to present Preston with a Citizenship Award for recognition of the positive contributions he makes in his school and community.
