Erinn Conn receives Exemplary Teacher Award

Erinn has been teaching at Eleanor Hall School for over 8 years. In those 8 years she has taught grade 3 and grade 1.

Erinn is a kind and welcoming teacher. She greets all of her students with a friendly smile, exudes a passion for learning and creates an atmosphere of curiosity. Her students are exposed to a supportive and encouraging environment where they are able to discover their interests, strengths and passions.

Her primary focus is to have her students reach their individual potential. Erinn challenges her students to be independent thinkers and create work that they can be proud of. Erinn’s classroom is an amazing example of inclusion and it is very apparent that in her class, the students come first.

Erinn possesses all of the hallmark teacher skills. She is prepared, organized, adaptable and is always ready to learn something new. Erinn shines for more than just those qualities. She cares deeply for her students (current and former) and goes above and beyond to meet all of their needs, as varied and complex as they can be. Her patience is extraordinary and her ability to stay calm in any situation is admirable. Her perseverance and resilience are unlike anyone else.

Erinn is a prime example of what an Exemplary Teacher is and she is an inspiration to others!
