Holiday message from Superintendent Michael Borgfjord

December 19th, 2022

Pembina Hills Students, Parents and Staff,

It has been a pleasure to return to a more ‘normal’ school year this past September, and as we move towards the Christmas Break, we have been excited to celebrate our students’ many talents at in-person Christmas concerts!

I continue to be thankful for the communities that we serve as the spirit of generosity can be witnessed daily. Our schools continue to give back in many ways such as providing food and donations for food banks, warm winter gear, holding toy and food drives, performing acts of kindness, supplying Christmas hampers and supporting each other. Our School Community Councils and Parent Societies also make invaluable contributions to our local schools. That sense of community spirit is something that I take great pride in!

Our students have also participated in musicals, zone and provincial championships, band concerts and numerous other activities. The coordination and support of these activities come from the dedicated staff and community volunteers.

The holiday season is a time to recharge, refresh and be thankful. We hope all of you have a wonderful holiday season.

Michael Borgfjord
