We are happy to honour an individual whose spirit and dedication have become an integral part of the Barrhead Composite High School (BCHS) community.
Long before the school day officially begins, Lillian Hnatko can be found volunteering her time to prepare breakfast bins, ensuring students at BCHS start their day nourished. Lillian also generously shares her talents and heritage, volunteering to teach BCHS students the cherished art of pierogi and cabbage roll making – a truly enriching experience for all involved.
On the days she comes in, her eagerness to help and generosity know no bounds. Whether it’s the delightful homemade desserts she provides for staff appreciation lunches or the thoughtful birthday cakes she brings in to celebrate our team, Lillian’s thoughtfulness consistently uplifts the school.
Lillian serves as an inspiring role model for lifelong engagement within her school community. Her enthusiasm for staying active and involved in our school sets an example for others, and her active volunteerism makes a tangible and positive difference in her school community.
Congratulations Lillian!
