Terry Fox Runs are a cherished tradition in our division, taking place each fall to honour Terry’s legacy and support cancer research. This year, our students once again demonstrated their remarkable spirit and generosity, raising an incredible $15,824.42 for the Terry Fox Foundation!

The top-raising schools include École Barrhead Elementary School with $3,870, École Westlock Elementary School with $2,297.65, Swan Hills School with $1,924.25, and Fort Assiniboine School with $1,896.10. Donations were collected both in cash at schools and online through the official Terry Fox School Run website, allowing families and community members to contribute in multiple ways.

We are immensely proud of our students, staff, and communities for coming together to make this event such a success. Their efforts not only raise vital funds for cancer research but also reinforce the values of compassion, teamwork, and perseverance that Terry Fox exemplified. Every step taken during the runs helped honour Terry’s dream and bring hope to those affected by cancer.
