Pink Shirt Day in Pembina Hills

February 26th, 2020

Students and staff across Pembina Hills School Division are wearing pink shirts to symbolize that they do not tolerate bullying.

Learn more about Pink Shirt Day, which is now an annual anti-bullying event in Canada.

Two high school students in Nova Scotia started Pink Shirt Day in 2007. After witnessing a boy being bullied for wearing a pink shirt to school David Shepherd and Travis Price distributed pink shirts t-shirts to the boys at their school. The boys wore the shirts to school in solidarity with the student who had been harassed.

Check out these great pictures from across our school division. We will add photos as they come in so be sure to check back in a while!
