Today, the Alberta Teachers’ Association (ATA) provided formal, legal notice of a strike commencing Monday, October 6, 2025 unless a settlement is reached with the province.

To reiterate details from our September 10, 2025 update, there is no change to school operations right now. Schools remain open and classes are continuing as scheduled.
